Ciao Chianti!

At last! A weekend in Florence. I was worried that after traveling for so many weekends in a row that I’d grow pretty restless the one weekend I had in Florence. Luckily, it was the weekend that hordes of friends from home, Chapman, and California came to visit. I’m pretty sure I lost count of how many times I gave the abbreviated history of Piazza Sigonora but it was so nice seeing so many people from home and even nicer to share a bit of my new home. Megan and I took some of our friends to Chianti for the day. After getting lost in the hills for an hour or so, we made our way to the farmers market, through the town, and to a winery for cheese/salami tasting and a tour of the complex. A simple weekend really, of course with the standard late-night debauchery that comes with being a college student. Oh, and secret bakery. Lots and lots of 3AM secret bakery.

I'm not sure what's going on here.

Being all classy and stuff.

The hills of Chianti.
